Constitutional clauses
- Categories are SubDAOs. Every product/research category is a SubDAO with its own treasury slice, its own veto on category-internal decisions, and its own public ledger.
- Re-budget on cadence, not on crisis. Every category re-evaluates its slice on a fixed cadence (charter default: 90 days). Pivots between cadences require a Tier-Lord supermajority.
- Inversion is normal. When a category's marginal return inverts (cost > attributable revenue or attributable mission value), the charter REQUIRES a pivot or sunset proposal within one cadence. Hiding inversion is misconduct.
- Cross-category coupling is opt-in. Categories may federate, but a coupling cannot be imposed by a higher tier without consent.
Vetoable actions
- Any proposal that locks a category's slice for longer than one cadence.
- Any proposal that allows hidden inversion to persist past one cadence.
- Any proposal that imposes coupling without category consent.
- Any proposal that removes the public-ledger requirement for a category.
Standing committee
The Optimization Inversion Command Center is the chancellery for this kingdom. Category re-budgets are drafted there and ratified by Tier-Lord vote.
Tier ladder
- Merchant — operates within a single category.
- Lord (floor) — sits on the OICC and votes on re-budgets.
- King — leads a category SubDAO.
- Eternal Diamond — maintains the inversion-detection telemetry.
